Review by hotel critic
Nestled on the stunning beaches of Rivedoux, Hotel Restaurant Le Grand Large serves as an ideal retreat for ocean lovers like myself who cherish a blend of coastal relaxation and adventure. The hotel, with its serene atmosphere and spotlessly clean rooms, provides a welcoming homebase after exploring the vibrant local market or a sandy day at the beach. The highlight for us was the breakfast on the terrace, complemented by the hospitality of the staff; Julien's warmth and attentiveness truly made our stay exceptional. While the charm of the village and its historical port added to our experience, we were let down by the inconsistent Wi-Fi connection during our visit; as a marine biologist, staying connected can be crucial. This minor inconvenience did not overshadow the breathtaking seaside views or the delightful international cuisine enjoyed at the restaurant.
